God has commanded us to come together for worship but it’s not solely for His sake. During worship, we grow closer to Jesus and also to our brothers and sisters in the faith. Think of it as practice for when we gather in Heaven.

It is also an opportunity to learn and grow in wisdom though teaching from the scriptures. When we grow, we are able to discover the fullness of life that only comes through a strong relationship with Christ.

We want to be a haven where God’s people can find love, acceptance, guidance, encouragement, and discipline in their pursuit of a godly life. Just like a family, small groups support and challenge one another to be better each and every day. Picking up our cross becomes much more doable when assisted by others bearing the same burdens and pursuing the same motivations.

We give back to the church by using our gifts, talents, and availability so we can better meet each other’s needs and reach the community. Each role of service contributes to a healthy whole. The true church has everybody involved in some capacity all striving together towards a common goal.

Our purpose as believers is to spread the Gospel of Christ so that others will know His redemptive love. This means utilizing all means and resources so that all can hear the Gospel in a way they can understand. Whether it’s in-person or through technology, the message must go out through our lives and in everything we produce.

We are also commanded to share the message with the rest of the world. We accomplish this through missionaries who devote their lives to spreading the Good News in places that haven’t heard. With our financial support and prayers, we can effectively touch the globe from West Pea Ridge.
